GOD’S THOUGHTS ARE HIGHER
Welcome back family!
Last week we pressed pause on the book of Acts—not because it doesn’t matter—but because in this season, we want to fully embrace something many of us don’t often make time for: rest. Not beach-day rest. Not vacation-mode rest. Not the kind of summer where our spiritual lives drift just because our routines have.
I’m talking about the kind of soul rest that brings righteousness, peace, and joy. The kind of rest that can only come when we soak ourselves, daily, in the Word of God.
We opened up Isaiah 55 and saw what the Word does: it gives life. It gives strength. It fills our hearts with joy. God sends out His Word, and it never comes back empty. It always accomplishes what He wants it to accomplish. Always.
And so when we open Scripture, we’re not just looking for something inspiring. We’re not reading for entertainment. We’re not even reading primarily for understanding.
We’re reading to hear the voice of the Living God.
Which means: it’s okay if we don’t get it all.
It’s okay if you don’t walk away every time with some earth-shattering insight.
You read. You trust. And over time—it changes you.
But there’s a part of Isaiah 55 we didn’t get to sit in long enough last week: “‘8 My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,’ says the Lord. ‘And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.’”
See, part of what it means to soak in the Word is to acknowledge—God thinks differently than we do.
There is a gap.
Ever since Eden, something in us is bent. Off. Skewed. We don’t naturally think like God. There is something fundamentally flawed in the way that we think.
1 Corinthians 2:14 (ESV) says, “The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.”
We are all predisposed apart from the Spirit of God within us to reject God’s thoughts, wander from His truth, and close our minds to His message of hope and life. And if we follow that path to its conclusion we give ourselves up to the futility of our thoughts, we darken our hearts, and what we find there is death—the opposite of what God offers.
Proverbs 14:12 (NIV) says, “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”
There is no place Jenny and I have argued more over the 15 years we’ve been married than in the car over directions. I get dizzy pretty easily in the passenger seat, so I usually do the driving—which I actually prefer. It keeps me focused and helps the time pass more quickly.
That also means Jenny is usually in charge of navigation. And I’m not saying it’s her fault when we miss a turn. I mean, I might be thinking that. But I’m definitely not saying it out loud.
No—what usually happens is this: we’ll both hear that a turn is coming. We’ll make what seems like the right move. But a few minutes later we realize—we’re on the wrong road. Because we thought we understood what the GPS meant. We thought we had it figured out. But if we’d just paused and double-checked—if we’d really looked at the map and compared it to what was around us—we would’ve known better.
And isn’t that so often what it’s like in our spiritual life? We respond to what feels right in the moment. We go with our gut. But we don’t stop to compare it to God’s Word. We don’t let His thoughts confront our thoughts.
So where we have to begin is by acknowledging that there is a gap between our natural thoughts and God’s thoughts. What seems right to us in the moment doesn’t always lead to the life God is offering. But here’s the thing: that change doesn’t happen unless we recognize something crucial—God thinks differently than we do. And unless His thoughts start to replace ours, we’ll keep slipping into ways of thinking that feel right… but lead us away from life.
So the question becomes: how do we close that gap? How do we move from our old patterns of thinking into the mind of Christ?
It starts with soaking—with clothing ourselves in His Word, daily. And that’s where we’re headed today.
A NEW IDENTITY, A NEW MINDSET
Imagine waking up and choosing to wear something completely wrong for the day ahead. You pull out your one good suit—for a hard day of digging ditches in the mud. You wear pajamas to the most important interview of your life. You choose the torn, stained clothes from the bottom of the hamper—even though there’s a clean outfit laid out for you.
You wouldn’t do that. Not physically. But spiritually?
Many of us do this every single day.
We wake up and put on anxiety. We clothe ourselves in shame. We wrap up in self-sufficiency. We get dressed in an identity that Jesus already took off us.
And all the while, God has offered us something so much better: Christ Himself.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
Not “he might become a new creation.” Not “she’s working toward it.” He is. She is. Present tense. Done.
Everything that used to define you apart from Christ—your sin, shame, guilt, striving, status, past wounds and patterns—all of it has passed away. Your old identity, your old record of sin, your old habits—they were nailed to the cross with Jesus. They don’t get to follow you into your new life.
This is so important to understand. Because many of us are living like God forgave us but left us the same. Stop trying to resurrect what God has already put in the grave.
"Behold, the new has come."
Stop. Look. Take it in. Let it hit you. You’re not just someone who’s trying to live a better life. You are someone who’s been brought from death to life. There’s something gloriously new at the center of your story now: God’s Spirit lives in you. You belong to a new kingdom. You’ve been given a new heart, new desires, new priorities, and a new future.
But here’s the tension: many of us are still clinging to thoughts and identities that don’t belong to us anymore.
Have you ever caught yourself spiraling with thoughts like: “I’m not enough…” “I’ll never change…” “I always ruin everything…” And maybe later you realize: That wasn’t God’s voice. That was just me. On repeat.
This is actually what the world is really good at. This is what Satan is really good at. He takes some of your deepest struggles and he labels you by them. It’s not that you are experiencing depression—this is now who you are. I’ve diagnosed you. This is your identity. The world labels us by our struggles and says this is who you are until we start to believe it as well. Satan calls you by your sin!
But God calls us by your name. He says, I know you. That’s not who you are. I know you! You are my child, my beloved.
This is why we must replace the looping lies in our minds with truth. Not inspirational quotes. Not the power of positive thinking. But the actual words of the Living God. We must begin to walk in our newness. And we do that by replacing our thoughts with His words.
CLOTHED WITH CHRIST
This is an intentional daily practice, not of just reading, but of meditation. The Bible is Jewish meditation literature. Which means that it’s meant to be chewed on, returned to, wrestled with. It was written in such a way that you must read it, and re-read it. Over and over again. Forwards and backwards. Up and down. Inside and out.
That every morning, every day—day by day. We soak ourselves in His word. We get dressed with God’s word. We clothe ourselves in Christ. We put on Christ.
Galatians 3 says, “25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian, 26 for in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (ESV)”
I like how the NLT puts it. It says, “And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.”
You get dressed with Jesus.
You shed your old, torn, self-protective layers—shame, insecurity, pride, performance—and you put on robes of righteousness. Robes you didn’t earn. Robes He bought for you with His own blood.
This is not a costume. This isn’t a disguise. This is your truest self in Him. To be clothed in Christ means: You walk into your workplace covered in His peace. You parent your kids covered in His patience. You speak into conflict with His gentleness. You walk into every moment, not as the old you, but as the new creation.
We all get dressed physically each morning—shirts, shoes, wallet, watch.
But are we clothing ourselves spiritually? Are we putting on Christ with the same intentionality? Because some of us are walking into battle in our pajamas.
The old you—the anxious you, the defensive you, the bitter you—that you is gone.
And yet if we don’t daily return to Jesus… we’ll keep living like the old self still has power.
The goal is that His Word would replace our words, that His thoughts would overcome ours.
RENEWING THE MIND
Romans 12:2 (NLT) says, "Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."
2 Corinthians 10:5 (NLT), "We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ."
Colossians 3:2 (NLT), "Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth."
Philippians 4:8 (NLT), "And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise."
And there is nothing more true, more honorable, more right, and more pure than God Himself.
We must stop trusting our feelings. Our hearts are deceitful above all. We must strop trusting every thought we have and start believing God’s truth above all.
If we don’t reject false thoughts, we’ll keep falling back into the flesh—even though we’re already made new. This is the point of today: putting on Christ by putting His Word in our minds. You don’t win the battle in your head by trying harder—you win it by replacing your thoughts with God’s truth.
BE IN THE WORD MORE THAN YOU'RE IN YOUR HEAD
In his book Renovation of the Heart, Dallas Willard devotes a whole chapter to this battle—Chapter 5: The Mind: Thoughts, Feelings, and Emotions.
He shows how real transformation begins in the mind. That what we consistently choose to dwell on will ultimately shape who we become. He writes, “The ultimate freedom we have as human beings is the power to select what we will allow or require our minds to dwell upon.”
That is the battleground. Not your behavior. Not your feelings. Your thoughts. What you dwell on. What you rehearse. What you tell yourself in the quiet.
And the good news is: you don’t have to be ruled by your thoughts anymore. If you are in Christ, you are new. You’ve been given the mind of Christ. Now let your thoughts catch up to the truth of who you are.
Jenny Allen says it this way, “We don’t have to let our thoughts run wild. We can stop the spiral and choose hope. Choose joy. Choose Jesus.”
But you won’t stumble into that. You won’t drift upward. That’s why God invites us—commands us—to soak in His Word. To replace our natural thoughts with His supernatural ones. To clothe ourselves daily in Christ.
So—dress up. Clothe yourself in Jesus. Every. Single. Day.
Not just once on a Sunday. Not just when your anxiety spikes or your week falls apart. Every day. Before the lies start whispering. Before the spiral begins. Soak in the Word. Meditate. Receive. Let His thoughts become your thoughts.
Because the Word of God is not just truth to know—it’s a voice to follow. And when you follow that voice, you find life.
So that’s where we’re going now.
I want to teach you one way that I attempt to do this several times a week. A daily practice to accompany your bible reading and continually fix your eyes on Jesus throughout the day.
THE PRACTICE: SCRIPTURE MEDITATION AND MIND RENEWAL
John 1:16 — “For from His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.”
God is full. He has an abundance that is more than I need. More than I can handle in fact. His love never runs out. His mercies are new every morning. He is an ocean of grace for me to drown in. Grace enough for every single person who has ever lived or will ever live. Grace enough for me. Grace enough for you. Which means I can show grace. I can meet every person with grace. God, may I live in Your fullness and not my own empty weakness. May I be filled to overflowing with grace.
Hebrews 4:12 — “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword...”
God’s Word is alive. It’s not just ink on paper but a force that cuts through my doubts, my excuses, and my hidden motives. It penetrates the deepest parts of my heart and mind. It shapes me from the inside out. Lord, may Your Word work powerfully in me every day. Pierce my heart where I need change. Give me courage to face truth, and strength to live by it.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 — “Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.”
My life’s highest purpose is simple yet profound: to reverently trust God and live in obedience to Him. Everything else flows from this. When I fear God rightly, it sets my mind on what truly matters. Father, help me keep this truth at the center of my thinking and living. May my heart bow before You in awe and obedience every day.
Psalm 20:1-3 — “May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you!...”
God is my protector in every trouble. I am never alone or helpless because He is near. His name is my shield and refuge. When life brings storms, I can trust His power to defend me. Lord, I ask for Your presence and protection today. Answer me in my times of need and cover me with Your unfailing love.
Psalm 20:4-5 — “May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans!”
God delights in giving good gifts. My desires matter because He delights to fulfill them in His perfect timing and wisdom. I can trust Him to bring about what is truly best. Father, align my heart with Yours. Let my deepest longings be Your will. Help me rest in Your goodness even when I don’t understand.
Psalm 20:7 — "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God."
Many put their confidence in power, strength, or worldly resources. But my trust is in God alone—His name is my stronghold and my hope. When everything else fails, He remains faithful. Lord, may I never rely on my own strength but always place my confidence fully in You.
James 5:16 — "Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed."
Healing begins with honesty and community. I don’t have to carry my burdens alone. God invites me to confess and receive prayer so His healing can flow freely. Father, help me live in transparent fellowship and open my heart to receive Your healing power through others.
Hebrews 5:7 — "In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death..."
Jesus showed me what real prayer looks like—honest, desperate, heartfelt. He calls me to bring all my struggles to God, confident that He hears and saves. Lord, teach me to pray with the same passion and trust Jesus showed, bringing everything to You without holding back.
Acts 6:4 — "But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word."
Prayer and God’s Word are my lifeline and mission. They fuel my soul and equip me to serve. I want to live fully devoted to these two—nothing less. Father, deepen my hunger for prayer and Scripture. Help me prioritize these daily and faithfully.
2 Chronicles 7:14 — "If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
God promises restoration when we humble ourselves and seek Him sincerely. My confession and repentance open the door for His forgiveness and healing. Lord, keep me humble and searching for You. Let my life be a place of healing and renewal because I turn to You.
Psalm 20:1-3 — "May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble! May the name of the God of Jacob protect you! May he send you help from the sanctuary and give you support from Zion! May he remember all your offerings and accept your burnt sacrifice! Selah."
God is my refuge and my help in every trouble. He sees my sacrifices and knows my heart. I don’t face trials alone—His presence surrounds me and sustains me. Lord, be my strength and shield today. Help me rest fully in Your protection and care.
Psalm 20:4-5 — "May he grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans! May we shout for joy over your salvation, and in the name of our God set up our banners! May the LORD fulfill all your petitions!"
God delights in granting the desires aligned with His will. My plans find true life when they flow from His heart. Joy rises in me because salvation is sure and His promises stand firm. Father, shape my desires to match Yours. Let my life shout with joy because You are faithful.
Hebrews 4:12 — "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
God’s Word doesn’t just sit on a page—it cuts deep, revealing what’s hidden inside me. It exposes my true thoughts and shapes my heart. Holy Spirit, use Your Word to search me, change me, and renew my mind daily.
Ecclesiastes 12:13 — "The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."
Life’s deepest calling is simple yet profound—reverence for God and obedience to His ways. When I get lost in complexity, this truth grounds me. Lord, help me live in awe of You and faithfully follow Your commands, knowing this is my purpose.
Psalm 117 — "Praise the LORD, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD!"
God’s love and faithfulness are beyond measure, and His praise is for all people. I join the global chorus, amazed at His enduring grace. Father, may my heart always sing Your praise, reflecting Your steadfast love in every word and action.
John 10:14-15 — "I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep."
Jesus knows me intimately—my fears, hopes, and heartaches. He is the good shepherd who gave His life for me. I rest in His care and know I am deeply loved. Lord Jesus, help me to know You more each day and trust fully in Your protecting love.
John 17:3 — "And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent."
Eternal life begins with knowing God—not just facts about Him, but deep, personal relationship. To know God is to live fully, endlessly. Father, draw me deeper into knowing You and Jesus, that my life would overflow with Your presence and truth.
John 14:23 — "Jesus answered him, 'If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.'"
Love for Jesus shows in obedience, and in that obedience, God makes His home in me. I am never alone; God dwells within my heart. Jesus, help me love You more by living Your Word daily—make Your presence real and constant in me.
John 3:29-31 — "The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease. The one who comes from above is above all. The one who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. The one who comes from heaven is above all."
Jesus must increase in my life; I must step back and let Him shine. True joy comes from hearing His voice and following His lead. Lord, teach me to decrease so You increase. Help me live from heaven’s perspective, not the earth’s.
Psalm 42:11 — "Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God."
When my soul feels down and restless, hope in God is my anchor. I choose to praise Him again and again because He is my salvation. God, steady my heart. Lift my eyes to You when doubts and fears swirl inside.
John 15:11 — "These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full."
Jesus speaks so that His joy fills me completely. Joy rooted in Him is full, lasting, and unshakable. Jesus, fill me with Your joy today—let it overflow into everything I do and say.
Philippians 1:6 — "And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."
God started a beautiful work of transformation in me, and He will not quit until it’s done. This assurance steadies my heart when growth feels slow. Father, keep shaping me with patience and power until Christ returns.
Titus 3:4-7 — "But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Salvation is pure mercy—nothing I earn, all God’s grace. The Spirit renews me deeply, making me His heir with a future full of hope. Lord, thank You for Your kindness and mercy. Help me live rooted in grace, not performance.
1 Peter 1:8-9 — "Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls."
I may not see Jesus with my eyes now, but I love and believe in Him. This unseen faith fills me with indescribable joy and promises salvation. Jesus, increase my faith when I can’t see You. Let joy rise in my heart even in waiting.
Proverbs 4:23-27 — "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. Put away from you crooked speech, and put devious talk far from you. Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. Ponder the path of your feet; then all your ways will be sure. Do not swerve to the right or to the left; turn your foot away from evil."
My heart shapes everything I am and do—so I guard it carefully. I choose pure words and straight paths. God, help me to guard my heart, fix my eyes on Your ways, and turn away from every crooked step.
Zephaniah 3:17 — "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing."
God is right here with me, mighty to save and full of joy over me. His love calms every fear and his praise surrounds me. Father, let me live knowing You delight in me and your love brings perfect peace.
Romans 15:13 — "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
God fills me with joy and peace when I trust Him, and the Holy Spirit empowers me to overflow with hope. Holy Spirit, pour hope into my heart today. Let joy and peace reign as I believe.
1 John 4:7-8 — "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love."
Love comes from God alone. If I love, I show I know Him. If I withhold love, I miss knowing Him deeply. Lord, teach me to love freely and fully—because You are love itself.
1 John 4:9-10 — "In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins."
God’s love is shown most clearly in Jesus, who came so I might truly live. Love began with Him, not me. Jesus, help me rest in Your sacrificial love and live in the new life You give.
1 John 4:11-14 — "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world."
Because God loved me first, I must love others. Loving others is proof God lives in me and perfects His love through me. Holy Spirit, empower me to love well, reflecting God’s heart to the world.
1 John 4:15-17 — "Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world."
When I declare Jesus as Lord, God lives in me and I live in Him. His love builds confidence, peace, and assurance for now and eternity. Jesus, root me deeply in Your love so I may stand strong with bold hope.
1 John 4:18-21 — "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, 'I love God,' and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother."
Perfect love frees me from fear and shame. Because God loved me first, I love others. Loving God means loving others without exception. Father, fill me with Your perfect love that casts out fear and teaches me to love truly.
Luke 24:45 — "Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures."
Jesus opens my mind to grasp His Word’s truth and power. Without Him, I remain blind, but with Him, understanding comes alive. Jesus, open my eyes and heart today to see and receive Your Word fully.
Romans 14:17 — "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
God’s kingdom isn’t about rules or rituals—it’s about living in righteousness, peace, and joy through the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, help me embrace Your kingdom reality today, walking in Your peace and joy above all else.
Psalm 84:10-12 — "For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!"
Being close to God is my greatest joy—more than anything else. He is my light and shield, my generous protector. Lord, I trust You fully. May I find all my joy and security in Your presence alone.
Luke 21:14-15 — "Settle it therefore in your minds not to meditate beforehand how to answer, for I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which none of your adversaries will be able to withstand or contradict."
Jesus promises to equip me with words and wisdom when I face challenges. I don’t need to worry or prepare in my strength. Lord, give me courage and wisdom to speak boldly when You call.
Exodus 34:6-7 — "The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children's children, to the third and the fourth generation."
God is rich in mercy, grace, and faithful love. He forgives freely but upholds justice. Father, thank You for Your patient love and forgiveness that never runs out. Help me live in reverence and gratitude for Your holy justice and grace.
John 8:31-32 — "So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, 'If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'"
True freedom comes from living in Jesus’ Word and abiding in Him. Knowing His truth breaks every chain. Jesus, help me stay in Your Word daily. Let Your truth set me free in every part of my life.
Psalm 73:25-26 — "Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
God alone is my deepest desire and unshakeable strength, even when I feel weak. Father, be my everything—my strength, my portion, my all—today and always.
1 John 4:4 — "Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
God lives in me. His power in me is greater than any challenge or fear the world throws at me. Holy Spirit, remind me daily that I am victorious through You, and I will not be overcome.
